MISTY IS HOME!!!
Totally zoned out, but resting quietly.
It was tough getting her in the house as she is very unsteady on her feet. We propped her up with a towel and guided her in gently and slowly. We have a HelpEm Up harness, but we didn't want to put her through all the hassle of getting it on her tonight. She should be in much better condition in the morning.
Thanks to all for your support and POTP.
Woos from Lightning and Timber (who are both camped out right next to the crate) and Mom
We're glad to hear she is home and resting well now.

ReplyDeleteHaving missed a few entries I was confused but then elated to learn the beloved but lost Misty had been returned to her rightful home. Quite the best news of 2020.
ReplyDeleteAw, she's so precious and I'm so glad all went well. Hopefully in a few days she'll be feeling much better. I know she'll get the best care ever.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend. Healing scritches to Misty. ♥
Glad she made it home.
ReplyDeleteWe are glad she is home and resting well! We had a walkabout back end "harness" for our borderish colliesh, who shattered his lift hip socket and ball along with a spiral fracture to his left femur (by tripping over a cardi and falling wrong). The walkabout was hard to put on, so we ended using only a towel. Same now for our old cardi. Hopefully, the HelpEmUp harness is easier. In any event, you have a towel to fall back on.
ReplyDeleteRest and heal and don't worry about a thing. Dream about the days to come when you and Timber will run and play together.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad she's safe at home. Soon she'll be feeling better.
ReplyDeleteAww, so glad she's home where she can rest among her caretaker brothers. Sending loads of pawsitive healing energy for her full recovery.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of healing hugs and kisses - I know she will be up and around soon - hoping she will cooperate with recuperation boredom!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
