POTP for Misty today

Misty and Mom met with the surgeon last night. Misty will have one of her knees repaired today.  She will come home late this afternoon.  Please remember her today and send lots of POTP for a successful surgery and a full and speedy recovery.
Depending on what the radiographs show, she will have either a TTA or TPLO repair.  If all goes well, she might be able to have her other knee repaired in 4-6 weeks.  That was very good news to Mom because she would love to see Misty fully recovered before the ice and snow of winter arrive when it would be a lot harder for Mom to walk her multiple times a day.  But we will follow the advice of the doctors and not rush things along.

 Meanwhile, Lightning is in a holding pattern with all his testing.  He has had a relatively better week with dryer nights.  So the vet wants to let a week or so go by before we move to more testing.  Some have suggested that his issues could be due to the stress of the past few months, and that may very well be true. But it still doesn't explain the enlarged adrenal gland and the very low specific gravity urine readings.  So if you have any POTP vibes left, he could use a few too.

We will update here once we have news about Misty.

    Oh my Wooful friends are always thought of especially when they are under the weather. Sending lots of prayers to Momster too as I know she is so ready to have precious Misty back to feeling Wooderful as she should.
    Lightning...fingers crossed each day with your trio together will dawn with less issues. Stress comes on quickly but oh boy is it slow to leave.

    Hello, prayers going up for Misty! I can't believe I've missed so much of what has been going on in your house; I had to go back to last year to get somewhat caught up. With the whole Covid pandemic, I really cut back on blogging and feel horrid that I didn't know what you all have been dealing with. Also praying for Lightning and his health, plus Mom's arm. I will be checking to see your posts more regularly.

    We are continuing to purr for Lightning and give him POTP he and Misty are always in our thoughts. Sometimes you just don't know why apparently, Fenris has been an entire month without being unable to walk as far as we know, and our vet thinks it is OK not to do more testing as long as it doesn't happen again. We are just so relieved it wasn't his heart. But we really would like answers and we sure you would to. We hope you get some and that they are answers with solutions so Lightning can be a healthy happy boy with you for many years to come.
