Wordy Wednesday

While I was out walking with Mom this afternoon, I met a new friend.  Meet Sam.

He said his name was Uncle Sam, but I am not sure I have any uncles named Sam. But that's OK, he can just be my friend Sam.  I asked him if he wanted to walk along with me and Mom, but he said he couldn't because he is on "watch" duty - something about watching for the election results.

I have my annual vet visit today with my favorite vet Dr. B.  He gave me a great report, saying I am in great shape.  My heart, lungs, tummy, joints, and weight all checked out A+++.  Then he had to go and spoil things and give me a poke.  I got my distemper and lepto vaccines today, and I will get my canine flu shot in two weeks.  He and Mom like to spread them out.  I had a three year rabies vaccination last year, so I didn't need that too.  Lucky for me, the distemper and lepto were an all-in-one shot, so there was only one poke.  And then nice Dr. B. gave me a tasty treat.  He talked to Mom about my tummy issues.  He is having me do a de-worming treatment in case I have some pesky worms that like to hang out in the stomach.    If that doesn't work, then I am going to try Pepcid for a while.  And if that doesn't work, he and Mom will talk about other options.  All in all, it was a good visit.

  26. Hi Timber, maybe Sam can come play with you now we think the results are almost finalized. We also heard that there will be doggies in the White House in 2021. We are excited about that. Socks took Pepcid A/C and so does the Mom so hopefully it will work for you. Mom says at least you probably get to take a full size one. Mom had to cut Sock's pill into 1/4 and it was the smallest dosage they made, but Socks was a small cat and you are a nice size doggie.
