Serene Sibe Selfie Ussie Sunday

Happy Serene Sunday!!!  Sorry we have been so out of touch.  Mom says it may be this way for a while yet to come.  But we keep nudging her to help us out.

Today while we were out enjoying a beautiful day, we discovered that there has been a reoccurrence of an annual event.

The flowers are in jail again!!!

We would be happy to help them escape, but Mom says that is not part of our job description.  Last year we remember the plants were all free and uncaged.  That would be because a certain female among us was not allowed to play in the yard and was on full leash restriction.  The boys were pretty good about leaving the flowers alone.

Surely you don't mean ME???

Even the holy statue and grotto and little angel have been incarcerated.  This is part of a project Mom has been working on.

She says it is a work in progress.  We keep telling her that we would be happy to help with any digging she might need, but once again THAT is not a part of what SHE has determined to be our job.

Guess we will just sit here in the green, green grass of home and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

Let's hop on board the Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.

  6. Our garden and our flowers are in jail too! But are are in jail because the deers eat them! You ALL look terrific! And it's spring, our human's minds turn toward gardens and they forget to blog or visit, we gotta cut them some slack (My Mom made me say that-because she has been remiss too!) We hope you and your peeps have a marvellously happy week! And good to see you today!

  8. If you were only terriers, then you would definitely be justified in arguing that digging is part of your job description.

  13. all the photos are special today, but the second one gets a standing ovation. I typed that first because I thought it first, butt then I read about the leaf eaters and incacrerated plants and though, NOT Misty. surely not. I am grateful your mom has put the plants in jail and not the eaters of the plants. It could have gone the other way, like a dog run or crate. BOL BOL. we know that will not happen.. Misty Friday post on Fourpaws is dedicated to you

  14. Hahaha, you made our mom laugh, because that's what she is going to do this week, do some planting, and then plant some fences to keep us out! Why does she do that? It never works! And you all look so pretty in your pictures!

  15. I've missed you bunches, but we do get busy from time to time. This is a busy time of year too. Mom knows what she wants and doesn't want in her yard. I know you know that.

Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥

  17. You all look marvelous AND happy to be out in the sunshine together. So those flowers are in jail again huh? Well, they don't seem to mind it much. That little grotto garden your Mom is working on looks like it's going to be beautiful. A "no pup zone" !!!

  18. Hello my Woos...you have been missed but one thing for sure your mom has created a most beautiful
area in your yard. Truly a sanctuary and you have a humming bird feeder.
During this nice and warm weather is the best time for projects.

  19. HEEEEEY MY FURIENDS!!!!! OMD, I see your Moms has been super duper buzy with peep stuffs too! Though, I thinks your Moms stuff is TONS more FABulous than Ma's...😂 I LOVES the Grotto!!! It is beautifuls! And Ma especially loves the fencing! Hey, Ma's plants have been in jail for 12 years nows, and there is no parole in sight! BOL!!!!! Ma does let me prune the mint plants ~ she has about four of them she rotates, so I can 'keep busy' while she is doin' the watering. 😁

  21. Lulu: "I guess those flowers are pretty serious repeat offenders!"
Chaplin: "Sounds like SOMEBODY is a repeat offender, anyway ..."
Lulu: "What's that supposed to mean?"
    Chaplin: "Nothing."
