Mostly Wordless Wednesday

A rare moment . . .

I almost NEVER bare my belly:)  But I wanted to show you how skinny I am getting.  And I threw in my crossed paws for good measure.

Woos - Lightning

From Mom - not necessarily a good thing - the Big Guy has been dropping weight with no change in his diet or routine.  He is a mystery to vet and me.

  1. Well at least the vet has weighed in. Handsome and then some. I hope this is just temporary.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥

  3. That's pretty adorable Lightning! I hope the weight loss is just a product of aging, sometimes it happens.

  6. Isn't that just the most comfy way to rest, Lightning? My paws are crossed that you don't lose any more weight.

  9. Our mom wants to pet that belly. We have our paws crossed that there is nothing seriously wrong with you because of your weight loss. Have you checked his thyroid? Our mom's thyroid went haywire and she lost a bunch of weight too. Now she is taking medicine to put it back to normal.

  15. Are you sure those ten pounds lost are not because of your recent grooming?

  16. Oh No Lightning. I'm sorry you have such a mystery going with no explanation. I hope the reason becomes obvious soon. Sending lots of purrs and healing hugs to you 3 Woos and parents.

  22. Please let us know how it goes. Does Lightning seems happy? Poor Zoe (one of Kaitlin's pups) was starving to death because she couldn't process food. But it was clear in her case that something was radically wrong...it turned out to be EPI, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. They now mix all of her food with enzymes and she's happy and energetic again. It doesn't sound as if that's Lightning's problem but thought I should mention it just in case.
