Today we want to express our thanks to all of you for your many comforting comments, emails, creative mementos, and cards that we have received over the past two weeks after Lightning's passing. They were all greatly appreciated and warmed our hearts so much.

Thank you to each of you for your thoughtfulness. Although they still bring tears to our eyes, your words are so kind. It is wonderful to have such good friends.

Hard to believe this one was taken on April 1st, just 9 days before we bid farewell to that happy smiling boy of ours.

The transition from 3:00 to 2:00 to yours to my eyes so I can imagine what it does to you. They're all so beautiful together and lightning you are always missed. I think it is good for the outpouring of love from your friends to bring tears to your eyes it helps in the grieving process

I'm still very sad with you, it's so hard to get used to the new normal.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I've not stopped by sooner - But you have been on my mind so often since you told me about your boy, Lightning. I'm so sorry about his loss because I know what a big part of your heart and home he was and still is in so many ways. He had a good life with you, and there have been so many memories created together -- And it is those memories (that can never be taken away) and the love and so many more things that will always keep you connected to one another in this life and into the next one too, where I know, without a doubt, you will see him again one day -- Until then, I know he's still nearby and will be there are he's celebrated on Saturday -- We'll be celebrating with you!! ❤❤
