So today is Thankful Thursday, a Blog Hop sponsored by Brian's Home Blog. Timber thinks Misty should be thankful he is such a good and helpful brother.
Timber: My sweet sister Misty has a boo boo on her side, and it gets itchy and really bothers her. Mom says it is another of the many sebaceous cysts Misty has had to deal with over the years. This one has been around for a while and recently got a lot bigger and firmer. A week or so ago it popped, and Misty tried to help clean it (and I might have helped her too). It was between the size of a large grape tomato and a small Roma tomato.
So are you wondering why I, Timber, think Misty should be thanking me??? Well, she can't get at that area at all with the cone on, and she may have whispered to me how much it is bugging her.
Well, it turns out that Mom had a different thought on that one, and she said I was not helping at all. The scab was supposedly a sign that things were healing. How was I suppose to know that?
Gee thanks for all the help, Timber. Mom says she may now have to put both the shirt AND the cone on me, the shirt to keep you away and the cone to keep me away. I think I have a better solution. Hey readers, what do you think of this - Mom needs to put a cone on Timber TOO so he can't be so helpful:)

ReplyDeleteHmmm - not entirely sure that would stop him, Misty dear... I forsee a shirt in your near future! POTP continues. Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
Awww, you were just trying to help! Poor babies.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, not the cone duo, Timber you best behave and Misty, let it heal up sweetie. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you have to wear that cone, Misty. Timber is such a nice brother to try to help you. Walter has been doing the same for a growth on Millie's eye. So far neither of us is wearing a cone, but Walter gets yelled at often to leave Millie's eye alone! BOL!
ReplyDeleteHey Misty !
ReplyDeleteYou really nailed The SideEye for your mom - I hear your mumblings all the way here in PA!

I'm so sorry you have to endure that, Misty, but I feel for your poor mom too. ❤️
ReplyDeleteMisty, your solution also occured to us!
ReplyDeleteTimber thought he was being helpful but it didn't work that way. I am sorry you have to wear that cone, but you both have to leave the cyst alone.
ReplyDeleteyou are a super brother, no doubt... we help each other at that front too... and we get the same reaction from the mama... she was an only child so she has no clue about real siblings... ha! hugs and potp for a good healing...
ReplyDeleteYou were just trying to be the best brother and you got yourself into trouble, Timber. I'm sure your mom will come up with the perfect plan. We hope you will be cone-free very soon, Misty!
ReplyDeleteMy first thought while reading this horror story, was on no, a cone would work on Timber but I did not want to say it in case it would make Mom put one on you. since she said it first, I can say ON NO, stay away from your sister Timber... cones are the worst part of this horror story...
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I thought of the cone as well. I hoe the shirt will keep anyone else from "helping".
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope the wound heals up fat so you don't have to worry about a cones and shirts anymore!!

You had better watch out, Timber, as you may end up with a cone of your own! We know you meant well, but better leave it alone for now!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Ollie
Oh dear, Timber. Well, it's the thought that counts, isn't it? Hope it clears up soon, Misty.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Humans sure do have funny ideas about health care and the proper way to treat wounds, don't they, Timber?"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "We send lots of tail wags for Misty to feel better soon!"
Chaplin: "And we cats send lots of purrs!"
