Awww(shucks) Monday

Well, it certainly wasn't the game we were anticipating:(.   Misty said it all with this:

"I just can't bare to watch this any longer."

We were expecting a much closer and more competitive game and thought it would be a 4th quarter rush for the win by either team.  But our Chiefs just didn't show up last night.  We even wondered if they were even trying at times.  We are sad, but we still love our boys.

Big congratulations to the Eagles - you deserved that Super Bowl Win.  You played so very well and are an outstanding team.

Now on to Super Bowl LX.

Woos - Misty and Timber

  7. We were so amazed at the Chief's performance too....Mama really likes Saquon Barkley though and was happy that he and Cooper Jean won on their birthdays. Hopefully Super Bowl LX will be a little closer(and maybe the Niners vs the Chiefs)!

  9. That sure was a rough game to watch for a Chief's fan. We did enjoy the commercials though.

  10. I am sorry your team didn't win. Our local team who are holding up the rest of their league played in the FA cup yesterday. They were playing the team that is top of the Premiership league. They beat them and are now in the final 16.

  14. Yes, it sure was such a lopsided game! We enjoyed the snacks though...they are always a winner! Even though petcretary was at her work, they provided a spread for all of us!

  18. It was quite the game. Mom enjoyed the Commercials we got to see in the Great White North (we don't get to see them all on Canadian TV) But mostly we had fun celebrating Nutmeg's birthday. Mom really did make a fish cake that us cats really enjoyed! Nutmeg was so happy that you made it to the pawty! Keep being awesome! Marvelous Marv, Kozmo, Jo jo, Nutmeg and Mom Barb

  19. I am sorry your team lost. Sometimes it just seems the starch goes out of a team, and no one knows why.

  21. The OP Pack....
Although I didn't watch the Super Bowl, {I'm not a football fan}, I was still rooting for the Chiefs to win, especially because my nephew, 'Capricorn', is a huge fan. So I will say the same thing to y'all as I did him.... Sorry your team didn't win. :)
I love your furbabies’ Chiefs bandanas!! Where did y'all get them? I am just curious. ;)
By the way, my mutt, Essie, has 37% Siberian Husky in her D.N.A.!! ;op

    1. Mom got them on Amazon. They are not "official" Chiefs fabric, but close enough. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D9LS5CKD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

  22. Sorry that your team lost, but they really have the best fans in you all! And your team did much better than our Mom's team, the Ravens!
