Freaked Out On Friday

Just let me know when the fireworks and the thunder and the silly cicadas stop.  Until then, I am out of here.

Woos - Timber

Maybe it's a bit of a stretch for the Nature Friday Blog Hop sponsored by Rosy and Sunny from the Living the Best Life Blog, but thunder and cicadas are part of Mother Nature's realm, right?

  6. Cicadas are back? Hope it is not the "big massive event" of a few years ago, June attacked them on our windows/screens ... they attacked us whenever we ventured outdoors! Poor Woos having to deal with them plus all the other noise-makers, who don't know when to shop [of course, the thunder is another thing, can't put a stop to that ...]. Ear muffs, a soft hat ... something please.

  8. True for thunder and cicadas but not for fireworks - so Timber you are entitled to a bit of 'hangover' response.

  13. Sorry we're so late commenting. We've been trying to survive a horrendous heatwave, with no AC!

We're supposed to get rain this evening, and thunder doesn't really bother us, but no joy yet. And all the fireworks displays were cancelled because of the fire hazard as it's been so hot and dry.

    Woofs,
    Ollie

  15. We are happy to stop by and see you both! But sorry to see you so scared.Redford is super scared of fireworks and thunder and for 4 days in late June, the Blue Angels were performing and flying over our house---it was so loud and very scary for him, but I didn't care! (Mom thinks I am deaf sometimes, but I never do not hear her making my dinner! Haha!)
