Trick and Treat Tuesday?

Many of woo have commented on the different styles the OP Pack have both with sofa snoozing and sunbathing. Here is another example of the variety in their mannerisms.

"OK, who wants a cookie?"

Very food-oriented, Dakota and Thunder are front and center immediately AND notice how well they are looking at the camera when Mom says "SIT."

"OK, now, DOWN."

"No problem, Mom, we're down and we're ready - now where's that darn cookie?"
(Be sure to take note of Thunder's missing paw - that's his trademark pose.)

Now, woo might be wondering why the third OP Pack member, Phantom, isn't here. Well, he really doesn't care much about food, and so it is almost as if he is doing Mom a favor by coming over. Here he is now.

"OK, Mom, I am here now, but I am not looking at woo."

"Nope, I just can't look."

"All right, all right, here I am, I am sitting, I am looking. Can we get this over with?"

"What do you mean, DOWN? I don't even really want the darn cookie."

"So there, I am DOWN, but I will pawsitively NOT look up. Just put the cookie right here in front of me and go away."

So, what do you think, do they all get those cookies?

Pee Ess, Sorry for the sad post yesterday but we were thinking how good that lady was to try to save Reba and it was a good reminder to us of how good our lives are. We will try to post a happy "tail" soon.

    As fur food motivation, woo should see me when The Doggy Nanny and Fred go to dinner fur they started the tradition of giving me some treats!

    Mom says the story was sad BUT it was rewarding to know hoomans do khare!

    I award you for not putting up with those pointless commands the peoples give. I, sadly, have been seduced by cookies in to lying down or sitting when I'm not even tired. I will have to try out some of your moves next time.

    You should see the difference at our house. We both love treats but Brice has to doggie push-ups and lots of other things to get a treat. I just have to be cute.

    P.S. Even though Reba story is sad, it's still good to share it. Reminds us that we have a good life and reminds our people that they need to help the unfortunate ones.

    Yes, I think they should get cookies.

    I can't tell for sure, but it looks in the picture like Dakota is doing MY signature move, which is the "hover-when-told-down". I find that I can jump up much faster if I just hover. Mom has gotten wise to this move though and she always double checks and then says, "All the way, Steve". Boo.

    My mom says this reminds her of my 3 human siblings when they were growing up - the middle child just had to be different - and he still does. I wonder if Phantom would act the same way if he was an "only dog"?

    Phantom and Stella are alike in this way. I will offer Stella a cookie, she will accept it, and go somewhere with it. Then maybe a couple of hours later I will see it by a chair, and then a little later, see her crunching away on it. No big deal. The only thing she will "do" things for is cooked chicken!
