Tuna salad
Salmon
Or how about this one?
Dad wasn't too happy, he said he preferred a juicy piece of swordfish! But Mom reminded him that this is supposed to be a sacrifice not to have meat - not much sacrifice with the price of good swordfish.
Hey Mom, the OP Pack wants to know what we can have too.
She gave us two choices:
This one:
Or this one:
Now those are two good options that we often get added to our kibble, but I went 'fishing' around a bit and made what I think is a good 'catch'.
What do woo think?
Woos, Thunder Dunder
Maybe I should give your Mom the recipe for Shermans Stinky Salmon Cookies, I love them so surely your Dad would!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm Lobster, excellent taste you have! Mum used to have two pet lobsters, she would never let me eat them though.. spoilsport!

Hi everybody,
ReplyDeleteWe are catholic too!! Mommy said if she can't have meat on Friday I can't either. She makes a great tuna casserole with two kinds of cheeese and mushroom soup that is delish and she always let me have a little.
The Mommy loves your Mom's yellow orcids and she wants to know if she could post the picture sometime with our quote of the day.

We love all those fishies in the cans. When Momma or Master open one, we get the juices in our foodables bowls and sometimes they open a whole can just for us!
ReplyDeleteWatch out for the lobster, though. It can bitey you.
Slobbers,
Mango
Hey, we have lobsters like that -- I have a red one and Just Harry has a blue one -- until Just Harry steals my red one and then I have the blue one -- and round and round it goes. His favorite toy is whatever I have in my mouth. Brothers!!! I bet woo understand!!

ReplyDeleteWe'd be thrilled to pieces with any of those cans. Mmmm, mackerel. We had that once. Mom swore she'd never open a can of it in this house again. I don't know why - we thought it was heaven on earth!!!

Hmm I prefer food in the can to any toy, so it is no choice for me, Salmon!!! Ben the Rottie is smart, he saw the cans and knew about the cookies.I have to have mommy make those salmon cookies again, it has been a while.

woos, we have those big red lobsters out here too! We've had small tastes, & they're much yummier than anything out of a can! Our bipeds are fixing chicken tonight.... we have our paws crossed...

Has your mom ever made salmon croquet's? they are very good and easy to make. 1 can salmon, 2 and a half sleeves of club crackers (crushed with rolling pin) and then add vinegar to ones liking and fry them in oil. Our favorite. And the baby is happening today, her water broke this afternoon! should be here any time now. =)
ReplyDeleteThe croquet's are for adults but are very tasty to me too. No mom's brother will not make it in time. the baby is coming 2 weeks early and the earliest he can get here it 2pm on tomorrow. but all the grandparents are there and my mom is going first thing in the morning with her sister. He is very sad to not be there.
ReplyDeletehey you guys are so cute!
ReplyDeleteIt was love at first sight.
Would you like to follow each others blog because i love new friends!!!
Hi, Thunder!
ReplyDeleteThe same happens here in my house. My mom is not a big fan of fish but today she enjoyed the one she ate!
And she shared a little bit with me!
That lobster is pawesome but... is it tasty??
Have a good night
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Well, Thunder, I think you made a good catch there, but I don't think I'd let go of those cans your mom is offering you either. That last one especially sounds good.
ReplyDeleteSteve
omdog, Mom made a GREAT soup the other day with Canned Tuna, if your Mom wants the recipe let us know.
ReplyDeleteI have that same red lobster....tasty! All that fish is making me hungry but then again I can always eat! ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Thunder,
ReplyDeleteYour catch definitely would taste better I think because you caught it yourself.
That was very good of you to eat fish on Friday too.
