World Cat Day

Today we celebrate World Cat Day all across blogger land.


We don't have any kitties at our place, but we have lots of kitty furiends out there. Two of them stopped by to say hello.


Hi Maggy and Zoey. Are you traveling around the world to celebrate this big day with all your furiends?

Hi Phantom and Thunder. We have so many place to go, but we just had to make a stop in OP to see you two Sibes. We hope you have a World Dog Day sometime so you can have a lot of fun too.

We received a package in the mail today from across the big pond from another of our kitty furiends Ginger Jasper and his lovely Mum.


They sent us some yummy rawhide sticks and a gorgeous rocking horse frame with Baby Brady's picture in it.


Thunder has his eyes on the rawhide -
he has never tasted it, but he is sure he will love it.


Here is a closeup of the frame - isn't it sweet?

Phantom thinks he smells kitty.
Ginger Jasper, did you help Mum wrap the package?

Thunder is now convinced that those sticks are lick-smacking good. Thank you, GJ and Mum. you are so kind to send such a thoughtful package.

So before we sign off for today, we want to wish a very happy day to our kitty furiends from Zoolatry, Ginger Jasper, and all the other furries around the world.

    World Cat DaY? How interesting .... we never knew ...

    Kuching (where we're from) if translated into english means 'Cat' - which explains why the city we're from is affectionately knowns as 'Cat City'. Maybe we should inform the mayor!

    World Cat Day? Those cats get a whole day?? I'll have to chase Grandma's kitties around to get them up and celebrating (my chasing them is the only exercise they get most days).

    The Wild Dingo quadrapeds would like to share the following: WHAT??? "World CAT day?" Oh my, that is just wrong. wrong. wrong! It's bad enough we live in a town named after cats ... but a day around the world devoted to them? The world has gone mad!
