Or maybe not:( Mom thinks there is something wrong with my left eye (that would be the one on your right).
A little irritation, a little weepy, not wide open. WHAT??? A trip to the V-E-T???
I will let you all know how things go tomorrow.
Have no fear, I expect to be looking like this again very soon.
Meanwhile, I am just going to relax here on Mom's lap and read all your blogs.
Note from the Momster: Thunder has had seasonal allergies in the past, so I am hoping it is simply that.
Okays, now I knows what you talkin bouts. It looks like some sort of irritation, wouldn't allergies cause both eyes to be red? I dunno, I'm not a vet...I's a doggie. Hmmmmm...dis is very interesting, between da both of us we could make up one good dog though.
ReplyDeletePlease keep us posted on what da VET says. We bes thinking bout ya TD.
Puddles
Hi, Thunder!

ReplyDeletePaws crossed it is just allergies (though we are betting on a little claw action from a certain little wrestling partner - that has happened here).
ReplyDeleteP.S. - Rusty says if you get eye drops like he had to, make your humans dread the 5 times a day prescription.
Thunder, we are praying and crossing our paws that your vet's visit goes well and your beautiful blue eyes will be totally clear again. Let us know please! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
ReplyDeletePoor Thunder Dunder! I hope you are okay. Maybe you should wear dark glasses so your mum can't see your eye.
ReplyDeleteAhhh poor baby. Momma got a wash cloth, made it hot with hot water and used it on Lily's eye like a hot compress. It worked.
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Aww. I hope you get better! I get allergies too in my eyes. I had them in one eye one week and the other the next! The vet had me keep it cleaned out and gave me some drops just in case! It got all better on it's own!
ReplyDeleteSending good vibes your way!
Paws crossed it's not anything serious.
ReplyDeleteWe all seem to be battling allergies here.

I'm very much sorry abouts your eye! My Brudder Ranger one time scratched his cornea and it was kinda like that. So they gaves him some ointment and some pain medication and an eye patch and sent him home. Haha! Nooooo...I'm kidding abouts the eye patch. But wouldn't that be cool? Arrrrr!
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,
Mayzie

A trip to the V.E.T.? I'm so sorry. Now, I have to tell you something that my mom has done for me when my allergies start bothering me. YOu see she works for an eye doc and uses some allergy eye drops. A long time ago she asked my old vet about them helping my watery eyes and they said they wouldn't hurt and we could try it. Well, it does help me so even if this isn't allergies you might have your mom keep that in mind. My mom says there are several good OTC allergy drops available (Zatidor). Of course, you should check with your vet first, but you already know that, right?
ReplyDeleteSnuggles,
Twix
Did baby sister have something to do with this?! BOL!
ReplyDeleteWe hope your baby blues are as right as rain real soon!
Sugars,
Mack
Now that Frank Sinatra is gone, you are my only Ol' Blue Eyes, and you gotta take good care of them. Summertime has too much stuff to get your system upset, like weeds, allergies, bugs and bees! I am more for winter!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Stella
Sorry to hear about your allergie.
ReplyDeleteWe had the same hear and the vet told us to clean it with soap of Marseille, but very little soap on a wet sponge. It did work out. And don't touch the eye.
Nice woooh
Sally
Poor puppy, we hope you're doing ok.

ReplyDeleteRemy and Flash
Ouchies! Hope your eye feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh no, my dear Thunder Boy! My mom slacks off on helping me read blogs and what do I discover? My boy is sick! She is going to be in trouble now, but enough about her. I sure hope your eye gets better soon. Once Steve had a little irritation around his eye and he ended up having a form of mange common in puppies. You're not a puppy though, so I'm not sure what to tell you except to say that I'm sending you kisses.
ReplyDeleteLuv,
Kat
Oh gosh that did look like a sad eye, we are glad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteHello Thunder!
ReplyDeleteIt's great news that it's nothing serious. Sorry we just got around visiting blogs now, thus our late comments. Silly Mom did read the update yet decided to comment in this post because she says she could not help but look at your lovely smiling photo here!
We hope that the ointment won't be a struggle to put. We usually give our mom a hard time giving us meds and all. Waaaaah
