Thankful Thursday

We are long overdue on the thanks to our furiends for their many gifts and awards.



First up is a special package that arrived from Mexico. And we all know that is where the lovely Lorenza lives with her Mom. Look at the special wrapping on the gift box.




But what is inside is even more beautiful. Look at this exquisite silver and black bead bracelet that Lorenza's Mom made for our Mom.She has a very small wrist and usually can't find bracelets that don't just slip right off. Lorenza's Mom must have known this because the bracelet fits perfectly, and Mom has already worn it many times. Muchos gracias to our very nice friends Lorenza and Val both for the bracelet and for thinking of our Mom. Besos right back at you.


Lucille, the beautiful Great Dane, and Dennis the Viszla both gave us the Versatile Blogger Award with the pretty butterfly on it. Thank you both very much.


Dennis 's wheel of fortune was on a roll as he also awarded us the Prolific Blogger one too. Oops, we haven't been very prolific lately with our blog but we will try to earn this badge with some upcoming productivity. Momster, are you hearing us???


This special award came to us from both Mack of Mack's Mess and Quinn, The Other White Dog. Since the only four leggers here are dogs, we guess it is quite appropriate for us. This award was "special" for two reasons. First Mack awarded it to Phantom to send him good thoughts for his healing. And this was Quinn's first award and he wanted to share it with Ciara. We learned a lot about TOWD and his mentor Siku, White Dog.


And last but not least, the wonderful pups at 24 Paws of Love gave us this very "strange" award. As they stated on their post, If you've ever owned a Sibe, you know you are strange! We will take that as a compliment and thank them very much.

On a sadder note, we were very sorry to learn that Mica from Petey's Playhouse has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.




Mica was 20 years young - what a beautiful kitty and what a wonderfully long life! Sad woos to Petey and his Mom on the loss of their sweet furry.
