It was a wild, wet, windy, scary, and noisy night here in OP. But we are all fine and escaped the wrath of Mother Nature with no damages done. Today we want to thank all of you who wrote to us with concerns for our safety. It is so wonderful to know that we have so many loving friends out there. Thank you very much from all of us for thinking about us.
Here we all were last night checking out our kingdom. We all knew something was up and were happy to be safe inside.
Phantom spent most of the day doing this - safe in his cave by choice.
Ciara took refuge by staying close to her best friend. Of course, Thunder didn't understand what all the hullaballoo was - storms don't bother him at all - must have something to do with the name:)
This morning it is still raining but all is well. We send thanks to all for your concern and our thoughts are with all those affected by yesterday's storms and those in their path today. Stay safe.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
I'm glad all is well with the OP Pack! Tis the season?
ReplyDeleteWe had 55(plus)mph winds, all day, a couple days ago. I kept waiting for something (my truck?)to blow in uninvited. Stumpy spent most of the day under my desk and in her kennel.
Glad to hear that everyone is safe and sound! I think we are suppose to get some storms tomorrow, but none of the dogs get affected by them, just me:)
ReplyDeleteWhew! Glad to hear you didn't blow away! I'm with Thunder - storms don't bother me either. Nice green grass you've got there! Ours is just starting to think about changing from brown to green some time in the near future, maybe...
ReplyDeletePedro
Yikes, I'm glad your all OK. I saw the big storms in the midwest on the news this morning. It looked horrible.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
xxoo
Deborah
THANK you for the update - the moment we heard about this storm, we thought about you all. Phantom - you are just adorable - well... you all are, looking out that window!!! Great photos - stay dry!

P.S. Pawsome Thanks for your kind words about my Sis' passing.
So glad that you all are safe. We're getting that system through Tennessee today. We'll hunker down and God will protect us. Scrappy and Violet are in charge of barking at the lightening. The kennels are open so that they have access to their caves as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
We are so glad you are okay and safe from the storm. Love the pictures very much. We have a bad one headed this way this evening and all day tomorrow...wonder if it's the same one or we are getting a different bad storm from another area? We hate storms very much. Glad everyone is safe! Lots of love, Holly and mom
ReplyDeleteFurry glad woo were all safe inside. Whew, storms can be so destructive! We had really high winds & rain too, which has thankfully moved out.
ReplyDeletejack & moo
You are all so beautifully photogenic. Stay indoors and snuggle up safe :)x
ReplyDeleteIt's windy and rainy here, and they're promising storms, but we'll be safe snoozing away in our little house!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're all okay and have each other to pass the time with during the storms!
Bunny
OMD...I jus readed da news bout all dat bad wedder. You must tink I lives under a rock or sometin! I is so glad dat all of you's are OK. You all is lookin' good! Phantom has da right idea of where to be durin' a storm!
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to have your storms here today! I hope we don't have to do the tornado drill again...being locked up with Alley is worse than the storm! Maybe I need a stud like TD! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're safe.
ReplyDeletePhotos of the three of you always make me smile!
We're glad that you all are ok!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Thor and Jack
Glad to hear you all okay.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Nice woooh
Sally
Glad that you are all safe. Like how Phantom keep safe in his cave.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad all is well. Enjoy the calm between the storms. We know the area well enough to know there will be more. Hopefully, though, not for a long long time.
ReplyDeleteJake and Fergs
It was sure windy, noisy and rainy here too. I had to get up twice during the night with Samba and we both got soaked. No damage here, but it's dark and looks like more rain is on the way.
ReplyDeleteIt was bad weather here in Arkansas last night too. Lots of rain, thunder and lightening. Thankfully me and "IT" just slept on right through it.
ReplyDeleteOh - you asked what the "IT" is - he is a male, 12 months old, wired hair dachshund and "IT's" real name is Jackson or "Troubles" as mom calls "IT" . Me, I will continue to call "IT" - "IT" !
We're glad you are all safe! Dad says he remembers going into the basement many nights when he was just a pup. He grew up in Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
Glad to know that Mother Nature did not harm you guys. BTW, you have a very lovely living room!
ReplyDeleteThose storms are something else! We're glad you all are safe.
ReplyDeleteWe get all scared when hurricane season is on us -- June-November -- but we think the rest of the country often has a nasty time all year round, what with tornados, floods, heavy winds, rain. So come on down!!!
Wirey love,
Jake and Just Harry
im glad all is well. and i love photos of them! just so sweet and nice..
ReplyDeletestay warm and fuzzy in the house!

We're glad all of you are okay in OP! When we see the storms in KS we call our Grandpa and he knows to give us the report not only for his area but yours too. Hugs to Phantom! Mommy knows just how he feels during the storms!
ReplyDeleteWell my work computer screwed up and lost my comment so will try again - knew I should have copied it BEFORE I sent it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, so glad to read that you all are safe. I got really concerned after it left us and headed your way cause it looked like it was gathering steam.
Phantom is a good boy - he knows where the safe place to be. Your Thunder sort of reminds me of Shiloh - just sleeping away only to be wakened by Shasta who instigates a wild run around the livingroom - barking towards the door and windows when it thunders loudly - are they trying to scare the thunder-boomers away? Shasta would be like Ciara - wanting to cuddle with her older brother for safety and comfort.
Kim
I'm glad you're all OK. They seem to be predicting a crazy storm season - be careful out there!
ReplyDeleteSo glad all is well with the Woos :-)
ReplyDelete-Gizmo, Bart and Ruby
We're really glad you're OK, and we just love that first photo!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy (and The Gang)
We didn't knows ya'll was safe until dis morning but we was SOOOOOOOO relieved!
ReplyDeleteIt just boggles my brains dat Phantom goes in his cave on his own free will.
But, I understand it is a safe haven fur alot of dogs which is a good thing.
So glad ya'll is okays.
Puddles
I am so glad to hear you are all safe from harm. Those storms must be so frightening for you. I am glad itsn gone away now. Take care friends, Hugs GJ x
ReplyDeleteGreat pics mates! Glad effuryone is safe & sound,
ReplyDeleteRA & Isis
It must have been realy scary!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know the worst has passed!!!
Rain is not so bad at times is it, when you know how worse things can be... :)!!!
Ciao Lucille
Oh, I am SO very happy to know you all are safe. We hardly ever have thunderstorms here but I think the big ones would prolly be pretty skeery. My mom said that growing up in Oak-luh-home-ah, she learned that what you do when a tornado siren goes off is to go out and stand on your porch and look for it up in the sky. Is that what you do in OP, too?
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
So glad that you are all OK. It's awful to hear that you're still getting bad weather over there. It's quite calm here in England.
ReplyDeleteLots of love to you all
xxx
We're happy you are all safe and sound. sounds like good sleeping weather....if you can sleep.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Snake flipping sounds like a great sport.....but we're not allowed. If you see a snake in Oz you can be 98% sure it's poisonous.
Oh... not good..
ReplyDeleteGood to see you all safe. Guys... you can't stop the world. No matter how many times you want to get off.
Just think of how good the water is for the garden. xxxxxx
lots and lots of luv AMIE SOTO BLOSSOM X
Glad everyone was safe and snug...and are grateful no damage was done! Hope you have clear blue skies and a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know about your scary storm! (No cable for us!) But, we're mighty glad to hear that you're all okay!
ReplyDeleteThe Road Dogs
Um, we should say no cable TV! Obviously we have internet, but nobody here pays much attention to the weather :)
ReplyDeleteThe Road Dogs

ReplyDeleteOf khourse, we are furry happy to see woo khame through okay!
Hugz&Khysses,

You had a storm? Eek! Au hates storms. Glad you three woos are OK, and the bipeds too. Love that group pic at the window.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you all are safe - we get a taste of that nasty weather tomorrow. Thanks for sending it. ;)
ReplyDeletewe don't like scary storms. Hope its over
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
I was worrying about you. I'm so glad that you're OK, if a little scared.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should name all your future dogs after storms: Lightning, Rain, Stormy, Boomer... the list goes on!
I hope that sweet Phantom is feeling better.
I have been thinking more about the bad flooding in North Dakota (Fargo is 50 Miles west of us) and not paying attention to the weather forecast. Sorry you got a bad one but glad all is well. Tonight we are getting a SNOW STORM! Yes! We have about 4" with it still coming down. Parts of ND got 10-14" today. What IS this crazy weather!
ReplyDeleteLets hope for a peaceful summer, that is if it ever arrives.
Cheers and Hugs,
Jo and Stella
Paws crossed and hope the bad weather will go away. We are experiencing storms here too, mommy's hoping all doggies get to stay indoors and keep warm. Snuggle time!! ;)
ReplyDeleteYAY that y'all remained safe.

ReplyDeleteOh! Sorry I'm so late and didn't realise you guys were having such scary weather!! But I'm so glad to hear that everyone is safe. Wow, must have been something sitting through it!! My human, Hsin-Yi, actually loves storms - she thinks they are so romantic and exciting!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Glad you are all OK...and I just love that first photo of the three of them gazing out the window from their safe haven!
