Those neighborhood bird-mom's are going to love you for making their bird babies new homes so cushiony!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job there!! It's best to do your shedding outside although Holly likes to do hers everywhere!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
ReplyDeleteWhat good citizens you are - helping out the birds!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip

ReplyDeleteJenny :)
Oh you scared mee.....I thought it was snowing again!
ReplyDeleteThe birdies are going to be very happy! We need to help our birdies too but it's quite the ordeal to de-fluff around here.
ReplyDeleteSambuca's Mom (Sambuca is the husky mix next door) always puts her fur out by a tree after brushing to help the birds with their nests. Excellent way to recycle the floof.
ReplyDeleteMy mom person just got something called a Shedmonster and she has her eye on me. This does not seem like a positive develoopment!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
It looks like woo may even be too much for thr furminator!! EEEK!
ReplyDeleteRottie Hugs!
No wonder you're shedding up a storm of floof, with 95 degrees outside your door! Looks like your mom has to work as hard as ours to 'dog proof' [HA!] the house and yard. Did we mention the cinder blocks lining the inside of the fence, held down by steel rebars?
ReplyDeleteHope Phantom is doing better. Mama mailed you the pancreatitis info yesterday.
Jed & Abby
Our Mom's eskie Katie used to shed like that. Mom could pull huge hunks of Katiefur out while she was petting her.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
White floof like yours and black floof (like mine) would make a nice tweed floof, wouldn't it? Have fun getting de-floofed you guys. Mine has sort of starting staying with me since it stays so cold here. But it will all fall as soon as it warms up.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Stella
BOL! Too Funny!!!
ReplyDeletecheers,
Maxx
Hey!! Your yard looks like our yard!! Imagine that! Mom always likes helping out the birds, but it looks like you have enough for an eagle's nest!! BOL!
ReplyDeleteWowserz! That's a lot of furrrr! I bet you could make a coat! teehee!
ReplyDeleteHappy woofs & weekend hugs,
~Bailey
You guys are looking good. I'm one of the few humans who enjoys shedding season - reminds me of my horse days :)
ReplyDeleteWe hate defloofing and we dussn't has near as much as you guys has but there do be plenty. Fur some reason the burds here duss not want our floof. Mebbe we has defective floof.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried directly vacuuming the husky? It cuts out the middleman - plus the vacuum is Ava's favorite toy =]
ReplyDeleteAre you going to make yourself another puppy with all that floof?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the birds will love you. :)
ReplyDeleteThose birdie nests will be so comfy!
ReplyDeleteHow thoughtful to share!
love
tweedles
How considerate of you to do the shedding out in the back yard instead of in the house.
ReplyDeleteWe share our fur with the bird buds too!!! When mama uses the clippers on us...she does it outside and the bird moms go nuts! They love the soft fur for their babies!! Bet you have lots and lots of nice fur for their nests! Beautiful shot of you all!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug

ReplyDeleteThat looks like an awfully familiar sight! I FURminated Riley today because she is "blowing" her coat. There are clumps of fur everywhere! I should have taken a picture of the pile of hair I brushed off of her...it was like almost a whole second dog there!
ReplyDeleteWe bet you two feel much better (and about 15 pounds lighter) now that you don't have so much fluff on you. We hope Phantom is doing well. <3
Elyse and Riley
The birdies will definitely get to build more fluffy nests there.
ReplyDeleteHope Phantom is well and hope to see you all have some playtime together.

Hi,The birds love the fur for the chicks, It is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI hope Phantom is okay, and eating now.
Licks Bobby.
Phew, that is a lot of fur fursure. You can supply all of the birdies in our county I think. The mom here showed the daddie your photo as he was mentioning how much I am shedding this morning. I think he will agree that compared to you all my few furs flying around isn't a lot. But I think I see the brush coming out, argh.
ReplyDeleteThe birdies will be SO happy!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, we just brought Smokes to the groomers for his brushing!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
xxoo
Deborah
How very nice of you! Mum puts my furs outside for the birdies but I like to try and get it back.
ReplyDeleteI hope you doesn't have to put up with too much of Mum's plucky fingers. My poor rabbit dog siblings is getting that treatment at the moment.
haha That kinda looks like our yard when we get brushed. Too bad our Mom can't knit or anything. But, you're right, at least the birds and critters can use it!
ReplyDeleteThe Road Dogs
Great job! Nice blog! I'll be back soon if you please.
ReplyDeleteLove, Enya
