We goes in rotashun like that all day long and of course we all want the same hidey spot even tho there be more hidey spots than dogs in this house.
ReplyDeletePoor Phantom... wish we could send you Sissy's appetite.
ReplyDeleteYou got the best spot - on the bed. How do I know this? I can't tell fur sure, but it looks exactly like my LLCoolBean bed-same color and everything-that's how I know.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the rubber glove advice, that should help with these horrible hang nails I've been getting. I hope Phantom is back to bein' a chow hound real soon, not eatin' is never a good thing.
Woofs and hangin' slobbers,
Chester ;0=)

It drives me crazy when Stumpy doesn't eat. Even when I know it's only for a day or two. I would be out of my mind with Phantom's eating habits!
ReplyDeleteHow nice and big-brotherly of TD to let ciara have the hidey spot.
what is it about dogs and corners? Reilly loves to squish himself between two rocking chairs by the window....it's odd

Hidey spots are the greatest, pawsonally I'm partial to open clothes drawers! I hope Phantom is feeling ok, but Mom says that her Koda goes through phases of not eating much and then sometimes is so hungry he steals cat food. Strange doggie I think!
ReplyDeleteEvery doggie has a favorite spot. It can become challenging when two of you are after the same one. Maybe you could both squeeze in together?
ReplyDeleteHugs for Phantom! Hang in there, big guy.
Slobbers,
Mango
Phantom, I think you have the right idea about enjoying the bed! But dude, you gotta eat!

Good thinking, Phantom! I sure hope you are feeling better and that you are not getting the same storms we had tonight - lots of thunder and lightening.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Phantom....you gots da right idea there. You have your very own cushion to spread out and relax on (butts da hidey spot looks pretty darn comfy too!)
ReplyDeletePhantom, dear one, we are sending woos and howls of White Dog positive energy to you!
ReplyDeleteCiara, haven't you read the sign, "First Come, First Served!" at least that is what momma always tells us when we get beaten out of something by a sibling.
Phantom, we are keeping our paws crossed and having good pup thoughts for you to get better. We like your hidey spots.
ReplyDeleteWags
Ernie,Sasha,Chica,Lucas
Darn, Ciara! Thunder got your spot! Doesn't he know he should be nice to ladies and give up his spot? Chivalry IS dead, I suppose!
ReplyDeletePoor Phantom boy. We also hope this is just a temporary situation, his not eating well. Am I remembering this correctly--or this may have been on another dog blog--did you say a while back (maybe a month or two ago) that Phantom had some lumps? We sure hope he feels better soon and can get back to supervising the youngsters!
I bet one or more of your pack would make great therapy dogs! They already have experience around kids, so that's definitely a plus! Plus, they're just so cute and fluffy, no one would be able to resist petting them and hugging them! Also, therapy work is a lot of fun, a bonding experience with your dog, and very rewarding for all involved!
GREAT idea about the treats on the elevator. I usually take treats on our visits for demonstrations of tricks anyway, so I'll definitely pack some extra for the elevator. It didn't even dawn on me to give her treats in the elevator...duh!! Thanks!
Elyse and Riley
Thinking of you, Phantom. We've had a magical snowstorm here the past few days, sending all that positive energy your way.

Oh no. I sure hope Phantom gets his hunger back. I'll be thinking about him this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThere's a coveted bed in my dawg house too - Ziggy's old bed. We ALL like it...
Did Blogger steal any of your posts???
Pedro
Oh we understand about wanting the hiding spot - we have that at our house too.
ReplyDeleteAnd we hope that Phantom is feeling better - we are sending him lots of purrs and prayers.
We're coming over to snuggle! Make room in those hidey-spots!
ReplyDeleteOne thing about having small dogs is that they can curl up in the darndest places sometimes! I'm sure mine would love that hideaway too.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about Phantom. I hope he's back to eating again.
Dearest Phantom,
ReplyDeleteMommy is so worried about you. You gotta eat. She wishes she could give you come of her appetite.

ReplyDeleteMom got some stuff from the vet for Samick called viyo veterinary. It is a like a sauce that your pour on top of the food. It is supposed to have a bunch of good stuff packed in a little bit for those not eating to well. We haven't tried it yet but maybe you can check into that?
thunder 'n miss ciara,
ReplyDeletei have an idea! i bet if you just knock out those 2 little cabinets on the left, you could totally make that hideaway big enough for the two of you. heehee.
phantom,
i'm sorry your tummy isn't happy again. pretty please try and eat some more. miss sagira's idea is pretty good, btw. have you tried some of those gravy sauces? my big sis asa went through a really picky phase for a little bit after mama 'n daddy adopted her, and they used to put this iams gravy on her kibbles to get her to eat. she loved it!
