Thunder here today. I know it has been a few days since I told you more about my big project. But I have run into a few glitches along the way and have had to revise some of my blueprints.
I have been working hard on my research. But so far I still haven't found all the information and materials I need to complete my project.
Hey, big brother - maybe you need some more fur - I obliged the Momster this morning for a little spa action here.
But I do plan to continue my pondering today since it may hit 108 - 110 degrees F outside today.
UPDATED PHOTO ADDED 3:47 P.M. - wicked heat!
Woos, Thunder
How about I try to snag The Xterra when Mom isn't looking -
ReplyDeleteThere is lots of extra fuzz in it -
AND of khourse, I'll have my own supply -
Plan?
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
PeeEssWoo: Of khourse, that hinges on me not melting or vapourising when I hit Kansas! BTW, please tell The Momster my word is UNMATIN ;-)
Whoa is that ever hot! It's only
ReplyDelete86 degrees here. You better ponder your project in the AC!!!
Stewey
Pondering indoors on the hardwood floor under the computer desk while it's 108 outside seems like a wise choice!
ReplyDeleteAll I can think of is: "Spin it, baby, spin it good!" LOL
Wow! Y'all are having some big heat wave. Hope it cools off soon. I always think better when my brain is cool
ReplyDeletegussie
Look at that floof!! Thunder, we find that the best ideas come to us when we are snoozing... Happy pondering!
ReplyDelete-Gizmo, Bart and Ruby
That is hot!! It's hot enough here but I think you have us beat!! Stay inside!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
ReplyDeleteWe're all just lying around the house trying to stay cool. We think we want to go out till Mom opens the door and we feel the heat. Dad started cutting our coats last night so that we'll feel a little cooler. When will this ever stop?
ReplyDeleteDo we detect a hint of mischief in your eyes in that bottom picture??? Hmmm, what are you plotting, Thunder??
ReplyDeleteAROOOOF!
Boondocks & The Love Shack Pack
My sympathies! It's brutally hot here, too!

That's a lot of fur Thunder! Does Phantom give up as much of his fur that you and your sisfur do? Maybe you can make another you! Hope you stay cool today. It'll be low 80s here so wish you could come over!
ReplyDeleteIts mid 80s here today and supposed to hit 50F degrees tonight! So what I am gonna do is sleep all day and prowl around all night, when its 50. Its also sposed to be 80s for the rest of the week, though.

ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
Now that's HOT!
ReplyDeleteGood thing you aren't wearing that extra fur.
We think you should save it and make it Angel Hair on your Christmas tree.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Gives a new meaning to Hot Dog doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteNot sure where your research will lead, but the Good Book is always a great place to start.
Kitty and Coco
It sounds like staying in and staying cool is the only option at this stage, TD!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy

ReplyDelete108!!! Oh wow, I hope you are staying cool. We had a thunderstorm today, and there was a crack of thunder so loud I nearly fell off my chair and keeled over dead. But I'll take that over 108 any day!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your project! And we hope you don't melt in that 108 degree weather - that is INSANE!!
ReplyDelete- Starbuck, Nari and Alpha
Pheww...that sure is hot. Good thing you lost all that fur to help keep you cooled offer.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. Try to stay cool everyone. Keep your fur for winter. You could make a big pillow from it. No worries, and love, Stella

Let us know how it turns out Thunder...maybe when the weather cools off you'll figure that out!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory, Jacob and Bilbo
Go ahead and keep chilling out.
ReplyDeleteYour temps are FRYING!
I cannot even imagine!
love
tweedles
Yikes! That is hot even by OUR standards! Take your time researching, planning and creating...you might be in for a while. The White Dog Army is sending cooling energy and positively chilling thoughts.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could use all the fluff to stuff cushions for patio furniture. We had to buy some foam to fix one of our cushions (that some dog chewed) and it's expensive. Your floofy fur would work great!
ReplyDeleteSorry it is so dang hot for you :(
Wyatt
Very curious project you have going on. Can't wait to learn more about it! Nice fluffy balls of fur. :->
ReplyDeleteToday was brutal. It hit 111 degrees in mid-afternoon by me, but by evening, around 6ish, it said it was about 102 degrees. Now the humidity is back so right now it seems hotter outside than it was at 102. I hope this ends soon.
Stay cool, pups!
Suka
p.s. Great photos! But I especially love the last one, and how his eyes are looking at you. :->
We just took a short walk at 11:30 pm & it's still unbelievably hot and sticky... any chance your project has something to do with bringing us nicer weather?
ReplyDeleteTank's Asst. (Tank says woof from his cooling station)
You know, Shiver doesn't normally shed all that much. But then I had to take him to the vet last week and they had me lift him on a table to look him over. They left the room for his injections and OMD, there was hair EVERYWHERE on that table! He could rival Thunder's collection!
ReplyDeleteYowza! We've had some over 100 degree weather but not as hot as 108. Hope that air conditioning is working!
Hmmm... I'm not sure what I think of this 108 temperature. You see, Mom is busy interviewing for jobs for next summer and the summer job typically leads to a full time job. One place she is looking is Kansas City, which I approved of based on all the snow I see that you get, but I didn't realize I would also have to deal with 108. I might have to rethink whether I can endorse this location. (Although, being able to play with Thunder might make up for it.)
