Friends on Friday


Our very special kitty friend from across the big pond, Ginger Jasper, is not feeling well. His Mum and Dad are very worried about him.




Please send some good thoughts and prayers his way. We are hoping to hear some good news today. C'mon, GJ. Feel better, pal.




Another of our very good friends, Pip, is having some problems since his family moved to their new home. Although he is very happy at the new place, his family put his very comfy sofa in the basement while they wait to get a new one. Poor Pip is so lost without his sofa. He is staging an Operation Occupy Your Couch movement. You can read about it HERE.



To show our support for Pip's plight, we too are going to stage a protest by occupying the couch here too.




Ciara is a pro at occupying the couch, AND she knows how to get very comfy.



And she never needs to worry about any humans stealing the couch because . . .


. . . Thunder and Lightning are ready and waiting for their turn in the protest.

With those demon eyes, who would possibly think about moving the sofa to the basement?

    Gasp!! Sissy will be all over Pip's plight. She let it be known that she finds the bed at the beach house far too hard for her comfort and she and the Knight fought over the prime spot on their sofa the whole time.

    Our paws are crossed for GJ as well. While we occupy the couch frequently, this morning we were being especially cute and cuddly. Of course when we heard mom coming in with the beast, we scrambled off asap!! (hmmm, note to self from mom.. new training tool??)

    No problem -- not only do I, Just Harry, occupy the couch throughout the day and the evening, but if no humans are around, I dig behind the cushions and the pillows and make a nice comfy nest. I'm on it!!!!

    Ah, poor Pip. I'm so glad that your Sibes have taken up his cause. Your Sibes sure look good while occupying the couch!

    Our dogs are not allowed on the couch, although R sneaks onto it sometimes. I don't dare allow them up there for even one photo because years of training might go down the drain :)

    K and R think that their plight is as bad as Pip's...

    for all of the couchless dogs out there...led by Mr. Pip...Occupy the Couch! (I am the only one who uses the couch in our house, all of the others are still too new to trust it is ok).

    Mom gibbed the couch away so we has to occupy her bed to assist in the protest. The hoomans say they be getting a new couches but duss it efur happen? Wotefur you do, do NOT let the hoomans take your couch away. Or gib it away or stuff.

    After a lifetime of dogs, I have given up on having a couch. I have a living room with three comfy chairs in it. The cat occupies one, and I the other, but so far, Stella doesn't see herself as a chair dog. Too bad, I say!

    Our five have joined in with your and Pip's protest of the sofa...they now fully occupy it and only sometimes leave room for us...that include the loveseat and two recliners too!

    I believe it is every dogs right to have a place on the couch and to ride in a car with the window open,

    WOW Lighting is so big now, you'd never tell hes a pup looking at the photo of him and thunder on the floor, he seems to have gotten over his goofy paws,

    love Ciara on the couch too, how can you resist, id have too rub her belly everytime she lay like that, :)
