Saturday Slumbers

A quiet Saturday here.  BUT we are expecting some big action later today.  

SNOW!!!

Maybe even as much as 8 inches!!!

So we decided to spend some time resting up for all the fun to come.  We want to share with you some of our favorite ways to relax.

The older boys commandeered the sofas.

Still pondering my big adventure YESTERDAY.

Protecting one of my few toys that Mr. L. has not destroyed.

Head to head with a good buddy. 

 Side by side with another good pal.

Of course, the princess Ciara is the champion of relaxing poses.

She managed to steal one end of the sofa.

 Yes, she does love a good headrest.

See, another great place to place one's head.

Well, once in a while, it is necessary to get a different angle.

 

Or maybe just be silly.

 Did you notice you haven't seen these four paws at rest?

 Rest?????? What's that mean?

Well, once in a while he does crash.  His favorite daytime resting spot is right next to Mom's feet when she is using the laptop while standing at the tall counter.  (Yes, she spends a lot of time standing with her laptop on the counter because it bothers her back too much to sit.)

 Wait, it may be time to sound the alarm to wake up the other three.  Lightning thinks he might be hearing the approach of snowflakes.

We all hope you all have a great weekend - we hope we will be spending lots of time out in the snow.
