Overland Park got 8.2 inches of the most glorious white stuff called SNOW!!!
Our post is heavy on photos, light on words. Mom said we were outside almost all day, but whenever she showed up with the flashy beast, we all just stood still. So you won't see a lot of action, but trust us, we had, and are still having, a blast.
Bigify me, and see the snow sparkles on my eye. |
C'mon, Lightning, let's go. |
Time for a rest. |
Just a short one, almost time to head out again. |
Hi, Mom. |
Guarding the deck. |
What happened to Ciara's legs? |
Can we keep this forever, Mom? |
I am only coming inside if it is dinnertime. |

A different mix of the Three Husketeers. |

I don't know why Mom didn't make me another mountain here. |
Even the old man likes the snow. |
A little spring in his strut. |
Who needs a soft bed when I have snow! |
Hey, everyone, I think I smell turkey - dinner must be ready! |
We hope you all had as much fun today as we did!
And for all you basketball fans, GO JAYHAWKS!!!!

Guys, that stuff is almost as deep as we are tall. As usual here we got maybe a half inch of cold rain over 48 hours, so once again the weatherman don't know dip!

ReplyDeleteYay!! Snow is the bestest <3
ReplyDelete8"? Wowser. We were complaining about the 3" we received. It is spring after all. Geesh! Enjoy your white stuff. :)
ReplyDelete8" of snow is just wonderful . . .and the very best part of it is, you got it and we didn't!
ReplyDeleteI was just out in the back with a box and a shovel to clean up some poop, but as I tried to get to it, I kept sinking into the deep stuff, so I got some shoveled, in the box and put it aside for more. Then the shovel and I made for the house, we fell from the porch into the snow, and struggled to get out of it and tried again and made it. What a huge mess! It can all just wait for summer for me!
Jo and Stella
We have six and a half more inches here that you can have! We are tired of snow, but can clearly see how much you love it!

It looks as if you had tons of fun in the snow. We have never been in snow that deep and that includes the Mom. It never snows that much here. In fact none of us have ever seen snow for real except for the humans and maybe Socks.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Good think you guys have those big furry coats on! My pug butt is chilly in the flurries that have been wandering around Nashville.

Mom's aunt and uncle in Raymore said they got tons of snow too. We really wish we could have played it in. Mom really hopes there will be some snow next Christmas when we are in Missouri so we can pull our cousin Special K on her sled.
