Lessons for Lightning
Hey, I thought it was Tasty Tuesday - what do you mean I can't taste Mom's pretty crepe myrtle flowers?
No, silly boy. You aren't supposed to eat the flowers, OR the leaves, OR dig, OR get inside the no-sibe zone. Just smile pretty like I am, and wait for Mom to give you those tasty treats she has in her paws.
Woos - Ciara and Lightning
Momster Update: Mom had an epidural steroid injection yesterday. So far she is only feeling a bit of relief, but the doctor told her to be patient, it might take 4-7 days for it to kick in. Patience is not one of Mom's better virtues:(
Golden LAUGHS! I bet mom got something "special" for you soon. Sending Lots of Golden healing Thoughts. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteYes, you two deserve that treat for such nice smiles! :)
ReplyDeletePeeS....Hope Mom's pain goes away real soon. Take good care of her.
Oh good girl Ciara. You keep that Lightning under control but good luck.
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope the shot works on the Mom and that it makes her feel better. It is no fun to hurt. Take care.
Ciara, it's a good thing you are teaching Lightning what to do and not to do to get those tasty treats! He looks like a pawful!
ReplyDeleteWe hope your mom gets relief from the injection so she can feel better soon!
Arwoo! Ciara has it right Lightning....wait for it, wait for it.....
ReplyDeleteSorry you have that pain - I hope the Woos are taking excellent care of you!! Patience is one of those things that seems harder to find as we move on in life....sigh.
ReplyDeletePam (and Sam)
Oh my, so you all have to have patience...you two for your tasty treats and your Mom for some pain relief! Hope your treats were worth the wait - you sure did pose nicely for Mom! And, hope your Mom gets some relief soon!
ReplyDeleteStewey
So unfair, no flower or leaf tasting!! Hope you got some good treats though for your pretty smiles!
ReplyDeleteOur mom USED to have all those sorts of rules on this hill.... butt we have TRAINED them outta her now... It was hard work butt SO well worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteHope your mom is feeling better !!
my mom says she needs to put a little fence like that all around her hosta's cos we as in Margaret likes to destroy them...also our grandma has to have those shots in her back every so often and it does take hers awhile to work also..good luck and rest today.
ReplyDeletestella rose
we hope it helps - Mom has had cortisone shots all over her body for her arthritis and yes - the best results is usually within a few days.
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom feels better soon, I think all mom's miss this body part named "patience"... maybe we can buy it somewhere as an extra equipment?
ReplyDeleteThat is something your mum and ours has in common then, ha!
ReplyDeleteHope the injection kicks in soon and you get some relief.
Do you think you will be able to teach Lightening Ciara?
Dip Bridge and Elliot x
Good for you, Ciara. You've gotta keep Lightning in check while Mom recovers.
ReplyDeleteHope the treatment is successful...it's no fun being in pain.

We think you both have a terrific pose.
ReplyDeleteHeh-heh, do you sometimes think your name is "No-No"?
ReplyDeleteHope the back gets some relief soon. Good thing you have Lightening for a nurse. XOXO
We think you need to listen to Ciara! We're pretty sure those treats in your Mom's hand taste a whole lot better than those flowers. You can mess with the flowers after you get the treats. ;)
ReplyDeleteSaying prayers for Momster. Flowers aren't good food for Sibes. Treats are! Remember that, Lightning. PS - I have a Lightning and he used to eat flowers. He was picky, and he would eat only my favorite flowers. ;)
ReplyDeleteBOL! Paws crossed for you momma.
ReplyDeleteNola
Ha ha is that some mischief you are plotting with Clara , Lightning? We suggest you sneak over to the no-sibe zone. Have a terrific Tuesday.
