Wonderful Wednesday for one of the Woos!!!






Woo Hoo - look who is having a birthday!

Phantom is celebrating 15 years today!!!



You can see how happy I am!!!  Many thanks to our good friend Ann of Zoolatry for this beautiful birthday graphic.  

I was really excited when I heard Mom say we had to take a car ride this morning.  I love going in the car.  




But then I realized where we would be going.  Who the heck wants to go to the vet on their birthday???  I have to get my eighth Adequan injection.  I have been getting two a week for about a month now.  Once this one is done, I only have to get one once a month.  I don't like the shots, but I must admit I do think they are helping my joints.  And that pill that I have to swallow every night, Deramaxx, adds a bit more relief.  But I really do give Mom a hard time about getting that pill down.


 The good news is that I will be getting lots of special treats later today.  I hear there will be salmon in my bowl, followed by some Frosty Paws for all of us for dessert.  But the best part is THIS:


Some chicken breast tenders that we won from Reilly and Denny's contest.  I can't wait for Mom to get that bag open. Rumor has it that I get to have a whole strip just for ME.



You know, Mom - I wouldn't mind if you decided to let me start the celebration BEFORE we go to the vet:)

    Well, shots and pills aren't that great but if they keep you feeling well, we think they are worth it and those scrummy birthday treats will definitely take your mind off them :)

    Happy Birthday Phantom! I can not believe that you are 15 years old, you are looking great for a Senior Sibe!

    I hope that you have a wonderful day and that you get lots of pressis and treats and have a great big PAWty with the rest of the pack! It totally sucks that you have to go to the VET on your Birthday but those shots and pills keep you feeling good and keep you going!!
