No more waiting!!!

The waiting is over!!!  Let the PARTY begin! 
(Sorry for the delay in posting, but umm, there was a bit of a problem overnight and I needed to get some extra zzzzzz's this morning.  You'll hear the story later in the post and you can make your own judgment.

It's MY birthday!!!!  

I have been waiting ALL year for today:) But no more waiting, time to celebrate.

Today I am FOUR!!! 

So far here is what the Momster has given me.

A new bear (stuffed with a squeaker and lots of knots), a new pretty blue wubba (all of my old ones are in tatters), some tasty treats, AND some strips of those delicious chicken tenders that Phantom got for his birthday too.

Trader Joe's really knows how to make a tasty treat.  Turkey and cranberry - yummers.

I have decided to share my goodies with Phantom and Lightning.  Of course, Lightning is up front like always, and poor Phantom - Mom caught him mid-slide on the slippery floors.

And here I thought the waiting was over - SHE is making us wait even longer for those treats.

Now I know some of you thought maybe we were getting a new puppy.  But the Momster says that is not in the plan book.  And then she added "especially after the last two nights".  What ever could she be talking about?  And when I asked her where were the homemade peanut butter and pumpkin cookies she promised me, she said I had some measuring up to do before THAT happens.  So what's up with THAT????

I know, I know - AND this time I didn't do anything wrong.  It was all Ciara.  At the stroke of midnight for the past two nights, she has raised quite the ruckus at the kitchen gate trying to get outside - lots of scratching and whining.  At first Mom thought she really needed a bathroom break and came down to let her out.  Of course, that also meant that we all went out for potty time.  BUT then the birthday girl would not come inside.  It took Mom a half hour to get her to come back inside Monday night.  An hour later, she started again.  The silly Momster hadn't learned her lesson and came down again to let her out.  Duh, hello - even I knew Ciara was playing her.  So last night we had a repeat performance.  This time Mom had to put on her shoes and coat and chase her around the yard to get her in.  To say the least, neither Mom nor Dad were very happy with her.  Sooooooooo, when she started again only 15 minutes later, guess what happened????  The birthday girl got locked in her crate.  Oh boy, was she an unhappy camper - she ranted and raved for over an hour.  She kept me awake, and poor Phantom went into the laundry room to get away from the ruckus where he slept on a cold tile floor - at least that's where Mom found him when she got up this morning.  

When Dad got up a few hours later, Ciara was sound asleep in a sunpuddle - he went right over to her and woke her up - he was still upset with her.

Ciara here again.  Now who are you going to believe - this sweet and wise pretty girl or the mischievous mutt next to me????  I am totally innocent.

Phantom here - Let ME tell you - they are both nuts - just give me another of those chicken strips - that will really make me feel great.
