Before September flies away, we need to get our September Chewy.com Influencer product review done. At no cost to us, we received another great product from that nice lady Ms. Sydney from Chewy.com in exchange for an honest review.
This month we are sampling a bag of Blue Wilderness Trail Treats. We have been very happy in the past with several other Blue products. We were excited for this one because it comes in a flavor we don't get very often. AND we got a full-sized 10 oz. bag of treats!!!
See that handsome boy Phantom next to the product - we bet he would make a great model for Blue.
DUCK!!!! These biscuits a grain-free and naturally crunchy. They aren't too big or too small. Now seriously, how could any treat EVER be too BIG??? They also are available in other flavors, like chicken, turkey, and salmon.
So what makes these treats so good?
From the Chewy.com website:
Blue Buffalo Wilderness Trail Treat Biscuits are so tasty that the entire wolf pack would run for miles to get just one. The perfect crunchy treat for your meat-loving dog, Wilderness Trail Treat Biscuits are made with only the finest natural ingredients like duck, salmon, turkey, potatoes and flaxseed. They're 100% grain-free so your dog can enjoy a high-protein treat without any of the grains that contain gluten.
Key Benefits
- Oven-baked for a mouth-watering taste of real duck for a nutritious, high-quality protein snack that's also grain-free
- Blue Wilderness Biscuits are jam-packed with omegas for a healthy skin and coat and will satisfy their love of meat and natural chewing instincts
- No chicken/poultry by-product meals, just real ingredients
- No grains, gluten, corn, wheat or soy, so it's great for pups with food allergies
- No artificial preservatives, colors or flavors, just natural dog treats enhanced with vitamins
They even have a cool pawprint on them. The ingredients list is very simple: Duck, Chicken Meal, Potatoes, Chicken Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Flaxseed (Source of Omega 3 and 6 Fatty Acids), Calcium Ascorbate (Source of Vitamin C), Vitamin E Supplement, Salt, Calcium Carbonate.
The package also has that all important icon that tells us the treats are made in the U.S.A.
Now your humans are probably wondering if they will be able to break these biscuits into smaller pieces. The answer is yes, they can be broken, BUT we say don't do it, because they do crumble quite a bit. AND they really are not THAT big so we should get a whole one. Mom was nice (this time) and let us each have a whole one.
We must say we really did love these Blue Wilderness grain-free duck biscuits. They not only smell great but they are delicious too. 8 paws up without a doubt! Now how about another one, Mom?
Thank you, Chewy.com, for letting us participate in this product review. If any of our readers are interested in trying these yummy treats, click HERE and you can get some too. They also come in several other flavors.

Great review you guys! Now the collies are glaring at me, they want to know why I didn't pick those treats to review!
ReplyDeleteWe were hoping they couldn't be made smaller. Glad it crumbles which discourages making them smaller. We'd love those. We always eat Grain Free....well...mostly.
ReplyDeleteGhostwriter is saying you doggies eat better than the humans these days. She hasn't had a duck dinner in years! What lucky doggies. Those treats look very yummy indeed!
ReplyDeleteDuck you say....OMCs I bet I'd like the taste of duck too. I think you two did a great job reviewing and the taste test was the best. I know the other doggie peeps will appreciate your advice about breaking them especially if they are inside.

Phantom would be great photo for the front of that bag! I see that the treats have no rosemary - I am on a witch hunt to remove all rosemary from Shyla's diet so these look like a great choice.
ReplyDeleteThose look yummy....we think our Angel Woofies would have loved them.
