A Few Words Wednesday

Whoa, Mom - it's bright out here!!!

We wanted to show you our late blooming crepe myrtle shrubs, but we forgot our shades!  But we did remember our smiles:)

We want to send lots of sibe vibes and Mom prayers to all our pals in the path of Hurricane Florence.  We aren't sure where everyone lives, but for sure we know that Madi and her whole family could be impacted.  We wish everyone would pay attention to the severe warnings that are being given, and go wherever they need to so they can be safe.  All the material things can be replaced; your lives cannot.  And do take care to provide for your pets too - they need protection also.

Our house is going to be a bit topsy-turvy for a few days, and it won't be from any hurricanes.  Most of the first and second floors of our home will be getting new carpets.  Mom has been super busy cleaning out and now clearing out all the closets, moving all the breakables, and just generally going nuts.  The carpet guys will have to deal with four bedrooms, Dad's office, all the closets upstairs, the upper hallway, and the big family room on the first floor - lots of furniture that Mom has no idea where they are going to put it.  We are going to try to keep up with blogging, but if we go missing, no worries.
