We are very fortunate to have a wonderful and loving home. We never want for anything. We have good food, lots of treats, comfy beds, and loving humans who take care of all we need. But not all furries are as lucky. So we decided there must be something we could do to help others have a better life too.
Mom is going to bring all these treats to one of our local shelters where there are always way TOO many pups and kitties looking for good homes. We bet they would like to have some tasty treats too. Mom also has a few blankets and quilts that she will donate as well. Lastly we will be making a donation to Lightning's surgeon for a fund to help other dogs who cannot afford the very expensive surgery Lightning had for his torn CCL. It will only be a drop in the bucket, but every little bit helps.
Thanks to Jakey, Arty, and Rosy for giving us the idea to find a way to help others and share the love. If you want to take part in this great cause, just click HERE.

ReplyDeleteI just donated to another great cause the day before yesterday. You know I think I give more green papers to kitties and pups than anything else. Good for me and good for those that can give.

Those are grreat things to do! LBR has a similar to help doggies that need expensive surgeries, when otherwise the family might surrender their dog so it can be helped. We think they're grreat!
