Thankful Tasty Thursday - #ChewyInfluencer

Today is a great day to be thankful - so let's see what Thankful Thursday brought our way.

It's Chewy.com time - time for one of our November reviews. And do we have something TASTY for you.

We all know that THANKSgiving Day is usually kickoff day for the coming of Christmas.  So . . .

Mr. and Mrs Turkey are helping to show you Blue Santa Snacks baked with Oatmeal and Cinnamon.  We all agree that it is that time of the year when "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas".  We want to add a line to that song - "it's beginning to smell and taste a lot like Christmas too".  The sweet smell of cinnamon just rushes at you when you unseal the bag.  And we think the treats are perfect for Thanksgiving too with lots of pumpkin, carrots, and cinnamon.  Maybe we should tell Mom to use them to decorate the pumpkin pies:)

Let's see what Chewy.com has to tell us about these treats:

Description:

As all dog-lovers know, the most excited family members on Christmas morning are the furry ones. And it’s this special canine connection with the season that inspired Blue Buffalo to create Santa Snacks. Santa Snacks are oven-baked for a crunch that will send Santa shooting up the chimney. Made from an original recipe, Santa Snacks feature some of nature’s most delicious and nutritious ingredients including oatmeal, cinnamon, barley, pumpkin, flaxseed and carrots.

Key Benefits:

  • Oven-baked holiday biscuits with oatmeal, cinnamon, barley, pumpkin, flaxseed and carrots.
  • Natural treats with added vitamins & minerals.
  • Made with wholesome whole grains, fruits & vegetables.
  • No chicken/poultry by-product meals.
  • No corn, wheat, or soy. A perfect holiday treat for pups prone to food allergies!
Ingredients:

Oatmeal, Whole Ground Barley, Ground Whole Oats, Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Flaxseed (Source of Omega 3 and 6 Fatty Acids), Cane Molasses, Carrots, Canola Oil (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Calcium Ascorbate (source of Vitamin C), Vitamin E Supplement, Salt, Calcium Carbonate

As you can see, they are a decent size and come in Christmas tree and Christmas star shapes.  Mom said that they CAN be broken, but because they are so delightfully crunchy, they tend to crumble into small pieces - that makes US very happy because it means we get the WHOLE piece!!!

See that photo in the top left corner of the back of the bag - we bet that is a special endorsement from our pals Molly, Ruby, and Wyatt:)

So let's get this taste test moving along, Mom.  We are ready to sink our teeth into those treats.

OK, one more pose, then let's GO!!!
(You can see that Lightning still has his scab there on his leg.)

Did you hear the sound of that crunch???
Later???  Define later, Mom!!!

Is it "later" yet???  Are we there yet???

We all give Blue Santa Snacks four paws up for a total of 12 approving paws and three-wanting-more mouths.  Thanks to Chewy.com for sending us this product to try at no cost to us in exchange for a fair and honest review.  We all want to do a happy dance - they are THAT good.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

Pee Ess - if you are still with us, we got a call this morning cancelling Lightning's appointment with the surgeon tonight.  The surgeon is snowed in and can't make it to our area today.  So we have to wait for the surgeon's next visit here in two weeks.  That does not make Mom or Lightning very happy.  We already are guessing that the cone has to stay in place because of that darn scab. And we can't make the call to go leash free without surgeon approval.  So off we go to start weeks seven and eight:(
