Thinking Thursday
I am thinking that Mom HAS to be wrong.
I have my appointment with the surgeon tomorrow morning, rescheduled again from tonight. Mom says she doesn't think I am going to get "Cone Clearance" because every time that little scab falls off, a new one forms. If you look closely, you might be able to see it. AND she says she thinks I am still too gimpy for me to get "Off Leash Clearance" either. Bah Humbug seems to fit how I feel about her thoughts.
So here I am shouting out to you to send lots of good vibes that Mom's thoughts are way off base. I am so wanting to get out in the yard in that snow before the warm temps melt it all away.

You poor baby. You've had a terrible go with this boo boo. I'm so sorry it's taking so long.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day, Lightening. My best to your to Misty and Timber and my very best to your mom. ♥
Lightning, we know you are wanting to have "Cone Clearance" as soon as possible. Hopefully, you will hear good news when you go. You are still such a happy one even with that cone on. Thanks for the share. Good luck and we hope it's good news.

Lightning .....sorry my handsome fella...but you know Moms are have a 6th sense. Here so close to seeing the light at the end of your personal tunnel, we don't want to jump too quickly. I will still send some extra vibes to that scab telling it to go away and not return!!
ReplyDeletePlease thank Mom for her kind comment on my header. I took the photo at Logan's Trading post. As soon as I saw their display I knew it would be a great header. (Seaboard Cafe, where we go for lunch every Saturday, is in the middle of Logan's shop.)
Hugs Cecilia
Oh Lightning, we are so sorry you don't get cone clearance yet. Not to worry, it will happen soon. Don't want to do things too soon. Mom, hang in there, the day will come. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteAll clear would be most wonderful but better safe than sorry!
ReplyDeleteHari om
ReplyDeletehere's hoping Lightning... but be prepared... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We bet you will at least get clearance to go cone free. That scab is so small we don't think you could do any damage to it. Our paws are crossed for a successful appointment tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOh Lightning, I'm so sorry you still have that stupid lampshade on your head. Sure do hope you get it off soon... (or your Mom might be tempted to put Christmas lights all over it.)
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Sending lots of POTP your way so you can get rid of the "cone of silence".

ReplyDeleteOh Lightning. I hope that your mom is wrong, wrong, and wrong. You will get to run and jump and play with your siblings someday, before too long. I feel sure of it.
ReplyDeleteYes, sweet Lightning, good vibes galore from here!
ReplyDeleteOh Lightening we feel for you. All paws crossed here for the All Clear.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
we hope for super news from your vet and all paws are crossed that the cone will stay there when you go back home :O)
ReplyDeleteCan your mom slip a pair of kids jammies on you, Lightning - backwards so your tail will fit out the clever opening? Maybe that would work for some safe cone-free time? I wouldn't want to miss playing in the snow either!
ReplyDeleteWe really feel for you, Lightning, but your Mom is right. You need to be extra super careful now!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy
We are so sorry your scab is hanging on so long.
ReplyDeleteMy ma would be putting neosporen on it but don't
take her advice she puts that on everything.
There will be more snow coming for you to enjoy.
