Let's see if I can get a little chew fun in to occupy my confinement time.
OK, this isn't quite as easy as it used to be. Something isn't quite right!!!
Now I know what it feels like to be pawcuffed.
Uh, I could use a little help here, Mom. How about some cone-free time?
What do you mean, no way??? Darn it, even looking cute didn't help me out.
Woos - Misty (Day 3, at least 11 more in the countdown)

I've been following Misty's updates via my phone, that I hate to use to comment -- But this morning I'm at my computer, and wanted to let you know that I'm so glad that all has gone well! Her wanting (trying?) to chew on something is a good sign of how she's feeling and must make you feel good too!
ReplyDeleteYou are all thought of often, and I'm still sending all my best POTP and vibes as I cheer you on past and over any hurdles ahead, which I hope are very, very few! ♡ ♡
Don't give up, Misty. Your mom will be over to retrieve your chew bone for you! We continue to send you lots and lots of AireZen and healing vibes!
ReplyDeleteThe cone is bad. We haven't had to wear one, so we re lucky. Hopefully the time will pass quickly.
ReplyDeleteSweetie Pie, I'm on my way over to hold that chew fur you...bad enuffs having the cone of shame but not being able to get to your chew *faints*
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

we hope your mama can hold that bone for a while... da phenny never eats a bone without a bone-holder LOL
ReplyDeleteNow Misty, you know it's all for your own good. But we think the suggestion of getting your mom to be bone-holder is a good one.
ReplyDeleteAwww, look at you and yes you are most adorable. Mom knows you have to wear that cone. Soon little one, soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the pups. ♥
You can do it sweet Misty, I know you can!
ReplyDeleteHang in there Misty!! You got this!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx and mommy
Maybe Timber could hold one end for you?
ReplyDeleteMonday hugs to all.
Morgan used to carry her stuffie around in her cone.
ReplyDeleteBe patient, Misty. Hopefully that cone will be gone soon!
ReplyDeleteGood for you keeping your cone on. Gemma won't, makes everything harder for us , constant supervision.
ReplyDeletePawcuffed Misty I see you have maintained you excellent sense of humor. Bless your heart. It is best to heal right the first time so take a big Wooful breath and I send hugs.
ReplyDeleteCecilia
I'll bet she manages to start using the cides of the cone as helpers when chewing. It takes a few days to figure it all out but then they become pros. Keep up the good confinement work, Misty!
ReplyDeleteAwww, sweet Misty - I'm glad to see you're recovering and enjoying a chew or two. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteGosh I hadn't thought about needing a couple of paws to hold that chewing bone.....kinda tough without help. Hang in there Misty - soon you'll be FREE to chew using those paws.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Sorry you have to be coned for so long. :( XO
ReplyDeleteHi Misty! I have the exact same bone, I love it too! That cone needs to come OFF so you can chew it!

ReplyDeleteMisty, I think that despite the difficulties, you are having fun - cuz you are back where you need to be!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Poor Misty, it is frustrating not being able to get your paw on that chew to hold it down!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that you're feeling good, Misty! You are on the road toward recovery, and that is a wonderful thing.
ReplyDeleteWe are hoping the next 11 days goes by quick Misty!!
ReplyDeleteThat cone is an excellent bone holder.
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating! Even if it is for your own good. I like the idea of getting a bone-holder.
ReplyDeleteWe think you should work those sad eyes to get your mom to hold your bone for you while you chew. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteDear Misty, Your confinement will be over before you know it. You just keep being a good girl!
ReplyDeleteWags,
Noreen and Hunter
You got this, Misty!!
ReplyDeleteMisty maybe your Mom will hold the chew while you chew on it. Sounds only fair since she won't take the cone off.
