Misty's surgery is done. They were able to rebuild her knee. The surgeon said both knees were pretty much "trashed". We are so glad she has finally been able to have both knees repaired after more than six months of waiting. Both knees have been injected with Canine Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP offers a safe and natural cell therapy to relieve the pain of joint disease or injury, promote healing, and reduce recovery time using the dog's own blood. We are so happy that our vets are able to offer this option. Misty also had that nasty sebaceous cyst removed from her upper back and a skin tag taken off her lip. She will stay at the clinic until tomorrow for recovery. Thanks once again to ALL for your POTP and good thoughts.
Meanwhile, back on the homefront . . .
. . . this poor guy has been so quiet since Misty didn't come home with Mom last night. We keep trying to tell him she really is coming back, but he doesn't want to believe it until he can sniff her for real.
Wishing you all a good weekend, The OP Pack and Mom
