Misty's surgery is done. They were able to rebuild her knee. The surgeon said both knees were pretty much "trashed". We are so glad she has finally been able to have both knees repaired after more than six months of waiting. Both knees have been injected with Canine Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP offers a safe and natural cell therapy to relieve the pain of joint disease or injury, promote healing, and reduce recovery time using the dog's own blood. We are so happy that our vets are able to offer this option. Misty also had that nasty sebaceous cyst removed from her upper back and a skin tag taken off her lip. She will stay at the clinic until tomorrow for recovery. Thanks once again to ALL for your POTP and good thoughts.

Oh how sweet that Thunder is so worried about his sister disappearing yet again.......that will be a wonderful reunion when she's back home again. We just know her recovery will be fast and successful - she knows the drill and won't be surprised at the "no running" or cone or ANYTHING. Just so happy it's done. As for the Human Brother - we will send MANY MANY prayers for success with his surgery too.
