Our Patient is Home

 Miracle Misty is home!!!

She is resting in her crate.  Overall, she is doing well.  But she seems to be more uncomfortable than the last time.  When she was operated on July 3rd, she had a nerve block instead of an epidural. That was because she had to be discharged the same day with the next day being the Fourth of July. This time she had the standard procedure of an epidural and stayed at the clinic overnight.  Maybe that explains the difference. In any event, we will keep her very quiet and give her her pain medications.  We are sure she will be feeling better tomorrow.

Both Timber and Lightning were totally bonkers when she came home.  Misty had a royal and rowdy welcome home from her brothers.  Thankfully, right now, all three are sleeping:)

  3. Thank goodness she's home and on the mend... I'm sure Timber and Lightning are relieved to have her back. It's so frustrating that we can't explain to them not to worry, that all will be well.

Lie still Misty, let it take its time... that anaesthesia is not fun, never mind the cut and stitch! POTP x87. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  17. That is great news that Misty is back home and I hope she is feeling more comfortable today.
Her brothers must have been so relieved to see her back because it must be confusing for them when she disappeared overnight.

  19. Hope she will be fine in a day or two!! Different anesthetic procedure might just be why she's not the same.
