Today for the first time since I came home in June, I got to spend some time in the big backyard with Mom.
The green grass felt so good.
Yes, I am still on a leash but it is a 30 foot leash that lets me do a little bit of roaming.
Hey, Mom - do you think you could let me off this long lead so I can explore a little bit more?
Mom says "Happy Days Are Almost Here Again". I see my surgeon for a final checkup Thursday afternoon where we are expecting him to give me the clearance to FINALLY become a real Siberian again. I am so excited.

That is happy news. We are sure he will give the okay to resume (almost) normal life. You will still have to be careful for a while but you should get some more freedom soon. You sure look happy to be outside in your yard.
