 So I have been keeping something from you.  I didn't really mean to, but Mom has been super busy with all the different hats she has to wear this summer (tutoring the grands to catch them up on all they missed over the past Covid year plus, chauffeuring, keeping Dad's eyes hydrated, gardening, attending sports and dance events for the grands, and the list goes on).  But I digress.  What did I keep from you?  I had a birthday!!!  Now we can't blame Mom because we did have a family celebration on Saturday, June 5th, my birthday, but she just didn't have time to put together a proper post:)  So that is what today's post is all about - ME!!!

Now that I am FOUR years old, do you think Mom could stop calling me her "baby"?  Not a chance, she says I will forever be her baby.  As long as she remembers to call me Timber once in a while, I will forgive her. After all, it is so much better than my puppy name.

When I was a wee one, my first family had a special name for me. Some of you may remember. This photo may help jog your memory.

I was Bucket!!!  Or Buckethead to use the full silly name.

The first time Mom saw a photo of me!!!  It was love at first sight.

You can see I had my big happy smile way back then too.

And then the BIG ear stage:)

I loved my BIG brother right from the start and even more so today.

I guess Misty was pretty happy too.  Mom was explaining to us that we are some sort of real brother and sister because we have the same parents, just a year apart in litters.

Lightning and Misty taught me very early all about posing for the flashy beast and the yummy treats that came as rewards for a good job.

So right from the beginning, we all agreed - WE ARE FAMILY!!!

And now the years keep going by, and we keep being a wonderful family of pups.

And the family fun and joy just goes on and on.

Lucky me - I got a new piggy (stuffed with water bottle) toy for my birthday.  It is something I only get to play with under strict supervision because the bottle has something inside that rattles.  Mom doesn't want me to somehow get that bottle open and swallow whatever is inside.

I AM a very happy boy, and I always remember to smell the flowers (and occasionally take a little nibble:)

So now that I am four years and four days old, I think it is time for another birthday party.  Right, Mom???
