Sunday Statuary Selfies

Our new garden accessories:)

Lightning, Misty, and Timber - what ARE you watching???

We know she is up there, Mom.  We are just waiting for her to come outside.  Lightning wants you to stop calling us inside.

Explanation:  Our neighbors up the hill are puppysitting for a very cute Aussie-doodle puppy.  She likes to escape the fenced yard and come down to visit us.  For some reason Mom says she will be very happy when "cute puppy" goes home.

Misty wants to give you a better Sunday Selfie.

What she really wants to do is to see if you have a wee bit of POTP to spare for her.  She has a large, ugly-looking lump at the base of her tail.  She sees the vet tomorrow afternoon.  Mom thinks it is another sebaceous cyst, but it is in a tough spot.  It isn't easy to remove lumps from the tail and get good healing.  This whole thing brings back terrible memories of Angel Phantom's horrible experience with a tail lump.  We are hoping it really IS just a cyst.  We will update you once we have more information.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

Many thanks to Ann of Zoolatry for our festive and beautiful Christmas "look".  She always creates the most beautiful work.

  7. We have a new puppy living next door and he is huge. My girls don't like him at all. Good luck with the tail surgery. Morgan had two tail surgeries and Fudge had one, It's a tough area because there isn't much skin to work with. Ours all turned out well and we have paws crossed that Misty's will too.

  9. you do look festive and i thought you found statues of husky's on sale. ha ha... nothing like HOPE. BOL BOL... we were so happy 3 days ago when the renter next door moved out with they yappy puppy.. so sorry Misty, prayers for you and your mom. we went through those with Baby. she had two removed when she was younger and it was horrendous. at about 11 she to one hanging under her tail almost on touching the anus. we decided to let it stay and it stayed and grew until she died of old age, I pray now that is is a cyst and nothing more. is that why you did ot finish putting ornaments on your tree Misty?

  12. There's nothing like a fun and energetic puppy, to make you forget why you are outside in the first place! 😊 I'll bet they'll be looking for that puppy even after she's gone home.

POTP for the lump. Max has one on his tail too, and I hope it's benign like his is! ❤❤

  20. Sending loads of POTP the lump is not serious. Those escape artist pups...[insert eye roll here]. They sure can be distracting little balls of fur, can't they?

  21. Lulu: "I thought it must be a squirrel you were all looking at, but a puppy is even better! For a certain definition of 'better' that might not be shared by humans, anyway ... I am sending lots of fluffy tail wags for good news on Misty's lump!"
Chaplin: "And we Hipsters send purrs!"
