HOT HOT HOT - hAWWt Monday

Just a typical Monday afternoon in June in Kansas!!!

And why are we all panting, Mom???  It's 98 degrees out here and we are in the SHADE!!!

Much better!!!  Lightning crashed on his cot and Timber breathing in the cool air from that a/c vent back there.

And where, or where, is Misty???

After splashing her water on the tiles, she has found her favorite cooling spot:)''A very warm day here today, but we suppose it is better than last week when we were sandwiched between four tornadoes, two five miles north of us and two 8 miles south of us.  Big wind, lots of rain, and noisy warnings on the phones and weather radios.  We came out just fine, but we would prefer not being stuck in the middle.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

Note from Mom - the pups were not outside for any more than five minutes:)

Awww, darn, it IS hot, but not too hot to miss hopping along with the Awww Monday Blog Hop sponsored by Comedy Plus.

  1. We had a heatwave a few days ago. but the temps are back to normal. Does mom put ice cubes in your water? Our Angel Little Bit loved it when we put ice cubes in her water when it was hot.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. ♥

  3. Thank goodness for AC! We're going to get a couple of hot days starting on Wednesday so you will find us inside then, too. It's good to know you weren't in the path of those tornadoes.

Yeah, fur coats are all good and well, but when you can't take them off... get mum to put banans and wally melon and other fave fruits in teh freezer to make popsicles for you! My angel Jade loved those things. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Gail, who apparently once lived in NE Oklahoma, not a million miles from where you are, tells me you have "a lot of weather" in your part of the world. I am beginning to understand what she means! Stay cool guys.

  10. We have had pretty cool weather here so far this summer, but they are forecasting a few very hot days later in the week! Fortunately, our house is built into a slope and the downstairs is half underground and so stays cooler.

  14. That is way too hot! We are reaching 70 this week but that is about as hot as it usually gets here in the Southwest. One of the benefits of being a peninsula. It is due to cool again over the weekend.

  17. I really think summer is kind of a miserable season. At least I get to swim but otherwise, it's about hibernating until you can bear to be outside!

  18. Lulu: "I am also a big fan of cool tiles on hot days. I never thought to splash water on the tiles though! I am going to have to give that a try ..."

  19. Ugh...it's just flat awful. I'm already counting down the days until the official arrival of autumn (98 for anyone interested). We spent the first few triple digit days without a functioning air conditioner so we're totally over it. 😬
