Wordy(less) Wednesday

We are back!!!  It has been a long week plus and a crazy, hectic, but fun Thanksgiving holiday time.

BUT woe is me, Misty!!!

First I had to wear a silly shirt, but I figured out how to get under that shirt and clean my wound.  Then I had to wear the cone and the shirt, but Timber tried to help me keep it licked clean.  Then the vet and the Momster conspired and then I had to wear a new shirt that prevented both of us from getting at that area.  At least NO cone.  But I guess I blew it the other night because I licked and licked that shirt all night while Mom was sleeping.  I managed to remove the entire scab from the wound.  So NOW I am stuck in the new shirt AND the evil cone!!!

Hey friends, can you please send help and save me from this humiliation???

From Mom:  If you missed our earlier posts, you might have to go back and catch up.  But Misty has made it through the antibiotics with no serious adverse effects, maybe a sore tummy, but at least no diarrhea or vomiting.  The wound took a hit with her last licking episode, but for the most part, it is looking much better and finally showing signs of healing.  It may only be a few more days before we can set her free:). Thanks for all the good thoughts for her.

  8. We're glad to hear you are doing better despite your and Timber's attempts to "clean" your wound. Our paws are crossed that you can get out of your cone and shirt soon. Millie may need to get a shirt like yours as she is supposed to have a lump removed on her shoulder in a week. Walter has a similar desire to "help" clean all of her wounds. There is rumor that a cone might also be involved since she is also having a lump on her eye removed.
