ReplyDeleteWe are heartbroken to learn that Lightning has had to depart for the Bridge. He was such a furry sweet woofie and will be sorely missed. We send purrs of condolence to his pawrents and to his fursibs. We hope you can find some comfort in the knowledge that he is now free from pain, and is young and healthy again and that you will all be reunited again someday. Till then, run free, sweet Lightning, in the green fields and warm sunshine beyond the Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry to read this, please accept our sincere condolences at the loss of sweet Lightning. I have been reading this blog for years and I know how wonderfully you care for your huskies. Someone said to me when I lost one of my huskies that your dog needed to be rid of that body so that their spirit can finally run free and it gave me comfort. I know you know that Lightning is forever in your heart but his spirit is joyful and free and your huskies that came before are guiding him. A hug across the wires to you and yours.

ReplyDeleteI know he will be sorely missed, and I read that yes, even Timber and MIsty are wondering why he isn't with them anymore. (Dalton did that for a few weeks after MJF left us, and he was only with MJF for a little less than 5 months!)
